No player in the decade of the 1950s hit more home runs than Duke Snider. With his Hollywood good looks, cool demeanor and ability to deliver big hits and timely RBIs, Snider gave Brooklyn fans plenty of ammunition in the argument for top centerfielder in New York, when compared with Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays.
Whether your motive for purchase is ROI, assembling a top PSA Registry set, or simply accumulating high grade cards of Hall of Famers, this ’56 Snider will never disappoint. This card could be the poster child for PSA 9 MINT cards. While the term “pack fresh” has been overused in the hobby, we will clearly assert this card is deserving of the description. We’re willing to bet that if you cracked the case and opened the slab on this card, you would probably smell Bazooka Bubble Gum.
All of us at Heartland have been in the hobby for many years, and we can’t recall ever seeing a ’56 Snider this nice. Bid accordingly.
