Al Kaline may be one of the most underrated Hall of Fame players in baseball history. Playing his whole career with the Tigers, he compiled over 3,000 hits and had one of the best outfield throwing arms in major league history. Likewise, this 1954 Topps PSA 8 representation of him may also be underrated, Pristine Kaline portrait and “kneeling on deck” images are set against a vibrant orange/red hued background, and framed by dazzling white well centered borders. Four square corners and fine edging provide a superior looking perimeter, and no surface blemishes are evident. Vividly registered front and reverse side print registration provide the final stamps of excellence for a magnificent cardboard specimen. Immediately augment your 1954 Topps set by seizing this marvelous “mint” looking gem!
